Edna Garner writes with conviction on her work with the deaf community for over 35 years.
Initially trained as a primary teacher in Wellington, she raised a family of three, lived in New York then worked in Nova Scotia, where she first became aware of the needs of deaf children.
Indelible Imprints explores some of the story behind her ministry with the deaf community, as well as giving practical advice to hearing people on how to understand the struggle of deaf people to find a voice.
